DESCRIPTION:  \nDear Friends\, \nUROCK climbing team is organizing an outdoor climbing event on Saturday\, July 20th\, 2019 in Tannourine El Tahta. \nTanourine El Tahta is a mountainous area located in the Batroun District in North Lebanon 75 km from the capital Beirut\, with an approximate altitude of 924 meters above sea level. \n\n\nGeneral Information:\nLevels: Easy to advanced. \nWear a loose & comfortable top\, that gives you maximum freedom of movement. Choose long pants to protect your knees from scratches & abrasions.\nHave a jacket on you all the times\, in case the weather changes to be windy. \nOf course having your climbing shoes is ideal\, otherwise Converse or running shoes will do the job. \nThere are few shops in Tannourine El Tahta village if you want to get food\, snacks & beverages\, and DON’T FORGET to BRING WATER for the entire day (at least 2 liters).\n\nGathering\nIt is important to be on time by 7:30 AM at Carpet Plus – Dbayeh highway\, for the schedule to run as smooth as possible: We will leave at 8:00 AM SHARP\, & we will have a 15-min breakfast stop at Wooden Bakery Byblos\, and then we head to the climbing site directly.\n\nTransportation\nCurrently\, we DO NOT PROVIDE transportation. You will enjoy the thrill of this climbing site newly developed by Rock Climbing Lebanon. \nBeit Mery is located 16 kilometers away from Beirut\, with an approximate elevation of 750 meters above sea level\, which gives the town views of the Beirut peninsula and part of Lebanon’s Mediterranean coast. \n\n\nGeneral Information:\nThis crag is TECHNICAL\, with routes graded from 5b+ up to 6c+. \nLevels: MODERATE to advanced (NOT for first-timers) \nWear a loose & comfortable top\, that gives you maximum freedom of movement. Choose long pants to protect your knees from scratches & abrasions.\nKeep a wind stopper jacket on you all the times\, just in case of a cold breeze. \nOf course\, having your climbing shoes is a MUST.
